0019: Spring Time Is Here

It's Spring! And that means sun and rain in the next coming weeks. Summer is just around the corner and I believe a few people will start complaining soon about the heat. Talking about heat, school is over in a few months. I should probably do some work!

So, I've been going to this place in Winnall Moor. Been doing so every (or so) time the weather's good in Spring and Summer. Love the little cold stream. A nice 10˚C throughout the season. Keep drinks cold there, too!

I forgot to talk about the Katzenjammer concert that I went to with my friend. It was a great concert! They're playing again in London, I believe, this May!

They had an opening act by Karima Francis! She's got really strong vocals!

It was one of the best concerts I've ever went to!

Also, before the concert, we went to galleries and museums and we caught sight of Simon Cowell! Except that I only got my camera out at the last minute and only managed to get half a picture of the back of his head… Apparently, to my friend, that is amazing and she wants to print it out for her collection. Psycho much? She's a lovely person.

0018: Screaming Cats

I love listening to the Rooster Teeth Podcast. They make me happy. I feel so stalker-ish.

So little sis asked what camera I used during a workshop I recently signed up to. I believe it was a Pentax K1000. I've borrowed another camera for this Easter and that one is a Centon K100. The film I use is from Ilford, a HP5 with ISO400.

I've posted scanned photos up on DeviantART.com but here's a test print. A crappily done one just for you guys.

Spring is also coming near. Well, it should be Spring already but British weather is a little like a kid with toys. They want to play then they don't, then they do and then they don't and the cycle repeats. So it's cold, warm, cold, warm, rainy, warm, cold.

Thursday, I will be at Katzenjammer's concert in London!

Peach stayed over with me for a week recently. Left yesterday morning. I kind of miss traveling. I've told myself that I hate traveling before but then I realized that it wasn't that I hate it; I disliked traveling to study in the place I'm traveling to. I love to just go and fly, cruise or even drive to another country just because. To have fun, see new places. I went to a place that I thought I wouldn't go to once and that was The Philippines with Gopie. Maybe, one day, I'll go to The Himalayas with the second eldest. Talking about The Second, we made some sort of promise to strike out her Things To Do Before I Die list; which I'll refer to The Checklist from now on. The Second told me to choose three out of The Checklist and from the hundreds she has, I've picked them out. Then she tells me, out of the three, which one do I want to really do. I looked. Now… apparently, I've chosen the weirdest combination ever, according to her. Here they are:
  • Go to The Himalayas
  • Drive through three states in The United States of America
  • Risk Failure
Now, my favorite out of the list is Risk Failure only because it was the easiest out of the three and probably the only one that's the cheapest. However, it's THE Checklist of hundreds of choices. And since Risk Failure is to expose yourself to the danger of failure, I said to her, "Why not we do all three except instead of three states in the US, do all 50 states?"
We, in the future near or far, will fly to The Himalayas, get a train to Europe, cruise to The United States of America and rent a vehicle to drive through all the states while risking failure.

//I think it's an awesome idea, don't you?
